Bulk Water Station

Veneta Bulk Water StationThe City of Veneta's Cornerstone Bulk Water Station is located on Cornerstone Drive between Highway 126 and Jeans Road. The station is generally open for use 24 hours a day-seven days a week.

This station works on a pre-paid basis. All bulk water customers must go to the City of Veneta Administration Center located at 88184 8th Street to set up their account. A one-time set up fee of $25 will be charged to set up the account and to issue a bulk water card. Funds must be loaded onto the card prior to use.

Similar to a pre-paid debit card, the user will then "load" the card with funds at the Veneta Administrative Center. There is no restriction on the purchase amount; however, there will be a 2% surcharge based on the purchase amount, each time funds are placed or refilled on the card. Use of the prepaid funds will be charged at a flat rate, to be set by Resolution of the City Council, per 1,000 gallons of water purchased. The current rate is $12.75 per 1,000 gallons. Funds placed on the card will not expire.

The station features a user interface that allows the customer to use their card to purchase bulk water. The user must provide their own fill hose complete with a female cam-lock fitting sized to their needs. The station is equipped with both a two-inch and a three-inch connection. The City recommends the three-inch connection only for users that purchase 1,000 gallons or more at a time.

The water station was installed largely to make purchasing bulk water from the City more convenient.  The station is easy to use and streamlines the accounting process. Please contact Veneta City Hall with any questions regarding the bulk water station at 541-935-2191.
